Community for Diversity in the College of Natural Resources

Classroom groupIn the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management in the NC State College of Natural Resources, we believe that true diversity is allowing yourself to be open to difference, having an intellectual understanding of the importance of diversity, and a true feeling of its importance.  It is only when the head and the heart work together that positive change takes place.

Through our Community for Diversity in Natural Resources and in all our activities we work to ensure that all our faculty, staff, students and alumni feel welcome here.  We accomplish this through partnerships and collaborations with other colleges, industry, government and non- government agencies, communities, and you - whether you are a student, a member of our faculty or staff, an alumnus/alumna or a friend.

NC State University is dedicated to equality of opportunity.  The University does not condone discrimination against students, employees or applicants in any form. NC State commits itself to positive action to secure equal opportunity regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, religion, sex, age or disability.  In addition, NC State welcomes all person without regard to sexual orientation.
