FER graduate students hail from eleven different countries and work in a variety of special interest areas within FER. Our alumni include hundreds of individuals who have gone to work within research, administration, policy and/or academia for industry, non-profit organizations, private companies, consulting firms, governments and universities around the world.

Student Highlights
Shelby Gull Laird, PhD student in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources. In addition to her studies, Shelby is the State Coordinator of the It's Our Water! program and helped establish the Wolfpack Women in Science program.
Caitlin Burke, PhD student in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources, is working on a natural resource policy project with Toddi Steelman.
