Forestry and Environmental Resources Graduate Student organize the first FER Research Symposium
Please join us for the first Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources Research Symposium taking place on Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 in the newly built Jordan II auditorium, room 1216. The symposium will feature brief presentations on faculty research interests and will be a chance to get to know your faculty and fellow students. The FER Graduate Student Association and faculty are in the midst of organizing this all-day event scheduled to include approximately 11 faculty presentations, food and beverages during breaks and lunch, and an afternoon social at Sammy’s Tap and Grill near campus. While the event will last most of the day, please feel free to come and go at your leisure. At this time, we would like to ask you to mark your calendar and please let us know if you will be attending all or part of the event no later than JANUARY 3, 2008 so that we know how much food and beverages to purchase. We look forward to your participation in what promises to be an annual event showcasing the outstanding diversity of research in FER.
