Education:
B.S. Rochester Institute of Technology (Business) (1983)

M.B.A. Duke University (1988)

Ph.D. NC State University (Forestry) (1996)

Program Responsibilities:

Continuing education of foresters and other natural resource professionals; Environmental education of NC citizens and stakeholders; Forestry outreach to NC school teachers, environmental and conservation organizations.

Research Interests:
Forest certification; Sustainable resource management; Conservation based development; International extension program development.

Recent Awards:
College of Natural Resources Outstanding Extension Service Award (2006)
