In various ways since graduating, I've been privileged to serve our College and encourage "all y'all" to learn more about what's happening and participate. Our NCState Natural Resources Foundation is a great place to start. Thanks, B

I'll try this again. Since graduating from NCSU, I have married and have 2 children, one which is a NCSU grad. I have volunteered a lot in the Natural Resources area in SC,Al,Tn. I am proud to be a graduate of NCSU and CNR. I maintain my interest in Natural Resources when I travel by trying to visit sites of interest in nature and enjoy learning about the different areas.

CNR has developed a great way to post and keep up with NCSU activities and re-connect with classmates and professors. Great idea! I want to invite all Fisheries & Wildlife Alumni to attend our planned reunion event on April 30, 2011 at the Harrell Building on the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Come enjoy some good BBQ, music, and view student research activities. We will also have a fund-raising silent auction and a fishing derby for the kids! A great event to catch up with old classmates and former professors. Event details will be posted on the CNR alumni website. See you there!

Thanks for this wall. What a great way for us to stay in touch with the school and old classmates. I will be fun to reminiscence our NCSU past with old and new friends. Hard to believe when taking a computer class at State we hade to visit the basement of the textile building and put cards in a machine much like a typewriter to punch codes into the cards, give them to a staff member who sent them off via a phone line to the Research Triangle to get a printout of our program. We have come a long way with communicating.

Now on the tail-end of a 43 year journey from NCSU to Gatesville, NC, to Franklin,Va, to Detroit, MI, to Houston, TX and now to Camden, NC. Over that time filled roles including Construction Engineer, Start-up Engineer, Process Engineer, Utilities Supt, Operations Mgr, Maint. Mgr, Engineering Mgr, Plant Mgr, Resident Mgr, Division VP, Company President, and now retired but consulting as needed. All made possible by strong family support and a sound education foundation from NCSU.

A great addition to the wonderful things you're doing to keep us alums informed of what's happening at State and in touch with each other. Thanks for all that! Now if we can figure out how to smile at all those WVU forestry grads.....

Dean Preston, Prof Slocum and Short Roy would be proud to be part of this. One of my very best decisions in life was to enroll in the School of Forestry at N. C. State.

Wow! As communication director here in the college, it is so exciting to hear what your years here at NC State meant to so many of you and to learn about the exciting and successful careers that have followed! I'm sure it will be an inspiration to our current students and to alumni of all ages! Please continue to share you memories and advice and come see us!
